Swedish black metallers MARDUK have set "Rom 5:12" as the title of their new album, tentatively due this spring. Check out the cover artwork at this location. The CD was recorded at Endarker studio and features guest appearances by ARDITI (the project formed by H. Moller from PUISSANCE and M. Bjorkman), Joakim Göthberg (who played drums on the first two MARDUK albums and sang on the group's second and the third LPs) on a track entitled "Cold Mouth Prayer", and Alan "Nemtheanga" Averill from Irish band PRIMORDIAL on the song "Accuser/Opposer".

The upcoming CD will be MARDUK's final effort to feature drummer Emil Dragutinovic. A source close to Emil told BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the drummer officially quit the group on November 1 but has agreed to perform on the new album as a session musician.

Dragutinovic is currently working with former MARDUK vocalist Legion (a.k.a. Erik Hagsted) on his ELIZIUM project (formerly REBELANGELS).

MARDUK will team up with ENSLAVED, KEEP OF KALESSIN, MELECHESH, GOATWHOREand PANTHEON I for The Excess of Evil European tour beginning in early May. :arrowl:

Black metal noruego en Lima
El miércoles 28 de febrero toca en Lima la banda Ancient, como parte de Southamerican Tour 2007. Se trata de un grupo proveniente de Oslo, Noruega, una de las tierras más pródigas en el alumbramiento de importantes exponentes de música extrema, junto con Finlandia, Suecia, Suiza y Alemania. Ancient se presentará en el bar Templario (Grau 203, Barranco) a las 10 p.m. Entradas a la venta a US$10 en Nacho Pop, Moving Sound, KEJ Music y Genocidio Recs.

Que dicen acerca de esta banda???, ni el gran legion la conoce.. :P

Hmm, a mi no me parecio tan insipido "ancient", es mas, el Night Visit si me parece paja.
Otro grupo que me gusta tambien es su tocayo, Ancient Rites.
El ultimo cd Rubicon, es bien paja, con el cambio de estilo y todo.

Strato me llego a afanar cuando empeze a escuchar metal, ahora que timo tolkki paso por un manicomio, intento de asesinato, apuñaladas, borracheras, etc, da la impresion que la banda esta en su decadencia (de hace ya por lo menos 4 años o mas).

Personalmente mi forma de escuchar a Morbid Angel cambio radicalmente luego de leer a Lovecraft.
